In questa serie, che ritengo un progetto aperto, voglio esplorare le forme e i colori trovati in natura, la quale non smette mai di sorprendermi.
La montagna rappresenta per me un collegamento diretto con la mia infanzia: non sono cresciuto in una zona montana, ma mia madre e mio padre erano soliti portarmi a camminare nelle Alpi italiane. Ci sono luoghi nella mia testa che conservano gelosamente questi ricordi e quante più informazioni sensoriali sono riuscito a tenere con me. La mia infanzia è per me il mio paradiso perduto: un luogo di serenità infinita, accompagnato dal profumo dei boschi e dalla vista dei picchi rocciosi in lontananza.
Il mare è anch'esso un elemento che mi ha accompagnato a tratti. Anche se non ho con esso un legame profondo, sono innamorato della sua inevitabilmente potente presenza geometrica in ogni scena, e non posso evitare di renderlo a mia volta personaggio delle storie che voglio raccontare quando lo vedo.

In this series I explore the shapes and colors found in Nature, which never stops amazing me.
The mountains represent for me a direct connection with my childhood: I didn't grow up in a mountainous area, but my mother and father used to take me hiking in the Italian Alps. There are places in my head that jealously preserve these memories and as much sensory information as I have managed to keep with me. For me, my childhood is my lost paradise: a place of neverending serenity, accompanied by the scent of the woods and the sight of rocky peaks in the distance.
The sea is also an element that has accompanied me at times. Even if I don't have a deep connection with it, I am in love with its inevitably powerful geometric presence in every scene, and I can't help but make it a character in the stories I want to tell when I see it.
