ARCHETYPUM

This project is a visual reconstruction of my childhood impressions of the mountains and natural elements— where my earliest, most vivid memories of solitude, silence, and wonder took shape.

As a child, I spent summers in a small mountain town with my grandparents, wandering alone or alongside my grandfather. The scent of burned wood, the quiet weight of the forests, and the wind whispering through the valleys became imprinted in my soul. Later, my parents took me to the Dolomites and other alpine landscapes, where hiking through vast, open spaces deepened my connection to the elements—wood, wind, silence, and light. These experiences were not just moments in time but formative encounters with nature that shaped how I see the world.

Archetypum is an attempt to translate those intangible feelings into images, to evoke the quiet solitude of those early years. In my heart, these photographs take the form of echoes of a place that still lives within me.
