This project started in 2024 and is still ongoing. It's probably my deepest introspective search so far.
I've been looking for meaning, for light, wandering like a hermit in unknown lands, down unknown streets, up unknown mountains, along unknown rivers and lakes. And these lands and waters I do know in reality, or one would say so, I believe. Because they're just around where I live. But when is it, really, that you know something completely? When is it you can call a place your own? Or familiar at least? For me, that moment hasn't come yet. I'm an alien on this Earth, I don't know these streets, I don't know these waters, these lands that lie in my vicinity. And yet I am here, and here I stay. And as a passive observer, I probably look like a passenger, a tourist, an explorer; I walk around the edges, I get lost in these spaces, estranged from its people, mesmerized at natural entities, puzzled at the interaction between them and artificial human-made elements. I feel a bit cold out here, like I have been out walking for too long; like you feel when the sun's setting and you should have headed back sooner. I know I'll be walking in darkness, I'm aware it's late, and this worries me. Because the way back is now corrupted by this pressing, overwhelming darkness.
I feel far from home. And yet, I don't know where home is.

Questo progetto è iniziato nel 2024 ed è ancora aperto. Rappresenta probabilmente la mia ricerca introspettiva più profonda.
Cerco un significato, una luce, vagando come un eremita in terre sconosciute, per strade ignote, su montagne inesplorate, lungo fiumi e laghi che sembrano sfuggirmi. Eppure, queste terre e queste acque dovrei conoscerle, o così si dice, credo; perché queste giacciono attorno ai luoghi in cui vivo. Ma quando, davvero, si può dire di conoscere qualcosa? Quando si può chiamare un luogo “casa”? O almeno sentirlo familiare? Per me, quel momento non è ancora arrivato. Mi sento un alieno su questo pianeta, estraneo a queste strade, ai suoi abitanti, a queste acque, a queste terre. Eppure sono qui, e qui rimango.
Forse appaio come un turista, un esploratore. Cammino ai margini, mi perdo negli spazi, rapito dalla bellezza delle entità naturali, disorientato dall’intreccio tra queste e le creazioni artificiali dell’uomo. Qui fuori sento freddo, come quando esci di casa e cammini troppo a lungo: il sole sta tramontando, e sai che avresti dovuto tornare prima, sai che presto camminerai nel buio e che farà ancora più freddo, e questo ti inquieta. Perché ora la strada del ritorno è corrotta dalla pressante, soverchiante oscurità.
Mi sento lontano da casa. E allo stesso tempo, casa non so più dove sia.
